An early 20th century Italian standard lamp, the bulbholder in a faux candle over carved wood stand in the baroque style with stylised leaves, fluted shafts, beading, and on a circular base raised on compressed bun feet, and decorated with polychrome paint, mostly in sage greens but also with white, pink and blues. Italian, circa 1920. Rewired using a safety bulbholder and with silver braided flex and fitted with a new plug with a 3amp fuse.
Condition: Overall very good, the lamp is in good condition with only very minor losses to the paint, the colours are muted but good, and the lamp stands well.
