Vincenzo Gemito, ‘Il Pescatorello’ (the small fisherboy), a small bronze sculpture of a young fisher-boy wearing a loincloth and crouching on a rock and clutching a fish, raised on an integral circular socle cast to resemble a brick capstan, Italian circa 1890.
Condition: Overall very good, the sculpture is in very good condition with no damage or losses, the casting is good with excellent detail, and overall the piece has a fun appearance and pleasing patination.
