A pair of mid 19th century French fire gilt bronze candlesticks in the Louis XVI style, the circular spreading base with beading and a line of stiff leaves, rising to a dome of acanthus, with an inverted fluted baluster stem with swags, and sconces above with beaded detachable drip pans. The bases each have a small hole indicating that they were once table lamps. French, circa 1850.
