A George II silver salver or waiter, of dished circular form with a finely cast and applied Chippendale border and with a band of chased decoration with fruit, leaves and flowers around a central Rococo escutcheon with a coat of arms within and crested with a helm, raised on three pad feet, London 1749, probably by William Hunter.
Condition: Excellent, the piece is in extremely good condition and stands well, with crisply cast border and fine chasing and engraving, all of which remains remarkably clear.
