A George III mahogany fire or Dutch bucket, the oval shaped staved bucket with scooped edge and lateral brass bindings, a brass swing handle and conforming brass liner with a rolled edge. English, circa 1790.
Condition: Excellent, the bucket is in very good condition with no splits to the staves and the brass bindings are firm, the brass liner is in good condition; overall the piece has a great appearance and makes a bold statement by a fireplace.
