A late 19th century Japanese bronze sculpture of a carp, naturalistically drawn with open mouth, slightly bulging eyes and with broad scales on the body, standing on the pectoral fins and with a curving body with a broad tail fin. Japanese, circa 1880.

Condition: Excellent, the piece is in very good condition with no damage or discoloration to the bronze, which has an excellent patina and colour.
