A Pair of Regency Cut Crystal Vases

This item has been sold.

A pair of Regency cut crystal vases, each with a wide circular mouth over a deep cup-shaped body with bold vertical facet cutting interrupted with a band of geometric diamond cutting near the top, down to a capstan foot on a heavy square base. Possibly Irish, circa 1810.

Condition: Overall very good, both vases are in good condition with good colour and no evidence of water stain, there are a couple of small chips to some of the corners of the base on each vase, apart from this they are both in remarkably good condition. The colour of the glass – slightly grey in appearance – suggests that they might have been made in Southwest Ireland.
