An Art Deco vase in purple crystal, the tapering body with bold wavy ribbing to the inside, on a spreading foot with a polished pontil mark underneath, unsigned but probably by Thomas Webb. English, circa 1930.
Condition: Excellent, the vase is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, there are some faint water stains to the inside which could probably wash out however these are not visible without close examination. There are signs of wear on the foot commensurate with the age of the piece. Whilst this piece appears not to be signed it is almost certainly the work of Thomas Webb, who made decorative crystal wares to designs such as this.
