A large early 20th century Italian table lamp in the style of a Baroque altar candlestick, the bulbholder on a simulated candle over a stylised flower sconce, to a series of decorative balusters with stiff stylised leaves, on a spreading foot with a scooped border, on three compressed bun feet, and gilded all over with navy blue painted highlights. Italian, circa 1900.
Condition: Overall very good, the lamp is in good condition with no repairs or breaks, the gilding is in excellent condition with very little wear, and overall it has a lovely appearance with nice proportions. The lamp has been rewired using a new safety bulbholder, new braided flex and a new plug fitted with a 3amp fuse.
